Abstract Submission

organizing committee cordially invites you to submit Free Paper.
All Abstracts must be submitted online via “Abstract Submission” through the website no later than 23:59 pm, 27(Sun), 2026, (KST).
Submitted abstracts can be revised on the website during the abstract submission period. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Academic Affairs Committee of Korean Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery.
Accepted abstracts will be presented as oral presentations or E-posters and will be published in the abstract book.
Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your abstracts.

Submission Guidelines
Abstract Format
  • Title : Max 30 words
  • Body : Max 250 words
  • Up to 4 figures or tables
  • All abstracts must be submitted online via The 45th KSRM 2026 website.
    Abstract submitted via e-mail, fax or regular mail will neither be accepted nor acknowledged.
  • All abstracts must be written in clear English and submitted with as oral or E-poster presentation.
  • It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their text does not contain typos or grammatical errors.
  • Abstract titles should be brief and reflecting the content of the abstract.
  • All articles should contain a brief, clear statement of the background (Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusion) of your work.
  • Abstracts should not exceed 250 words the submission system will not accept anything beyond that.
  • Authors may further edit and modify submitted abstracts until the submission deadline on MY PAGE.
  • A confirmation of receipt of abstract will be automatically sent to the submitter, the presenting author and corresponding author by e-mail upon their on-line submission.
    Therefore, please submit the right contact details; otherwise, the presenter will not receive important information about his/her presentation.

  • The Academic Committee will reserve the right to reallocate the submitted abstracts to other session.
  • Abstract submission does not constitute registration for the conference and presenter are required to register for the conference separately and the presenting author must register for the meeting by the end of regular registration, October 16 (Fri), 2026.
Structure
  • An acceptable structure of an abstract must consist of the following components:

    Purpose A statement of the hypothesis or research question
    An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used.
    A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study. Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading the abstract. Statements such as "the data wil be discussed" are not acceptable.
    Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study.
    • * Topics must reflect some new perspective.
    • * Avoid ongoing studies.
    • * Include final data in your abstract.
    • * Priority is given to specific evidence from a long-term research.
    • * If your paper is about some specific surgical technique, please add some pre-op and post-op and post-op pictures indicating the effect of it.
    • * Please check the list below prior to submission: Please attach a consent form obtained from a patient if a patient photograph is included in your abstract or presentation. (It is the authors' responsibility to obtain consent forms from patients.)
    • * No changes or modifications are allowed in those pictures.
  • Corresponding author's contact details: Email address
  • Name(s) of presenting author and co-authors: First name(s) or initials of first name(s), family name (e.g. Sam Lee).
  • Affiliation details of all authors: Department, Institution/Hospital, City and Country.
    Affiliation details of all authors: Affiliation(s) should be annotated by superscript numbers.
Notification of Acceptance
  • All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee according to standard review procedures.
  • Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to presenting, corresponding and abstract submitting author by October 2(Fri), 2026 (KST)
Withdrawal of Abstracts
  • If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register by the regular registration date, the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.
  • If you would like to withdraw an abstract, please notify Korean Society for Reconstructive Microsurgery and Academic Secretariat (medibyte@medibyte.co.kr) in writing as soon as possible.
